City Mart Local charges a posting fee to publish a listing. This fee is paid to City Mart Local for the service of displaying a listing on the site.
City Mart Local is a local connection platform. It does not process, hold, guarantee or settle payments between buyers and sellers.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, currently Stripe. City Mart Local does not receive or store full card details. The provider's terms and privacy practices apply to the payment itself.
A listing that does not pass the automated safety checks is not charged a posting fee. A listing that is later removed for violating the Marketplace Rules or Prohibited Items Policy may not be eligible for a refund of the posting fee.
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Where a posting fee was charged but the listing was never displayed because of a City Mart Local error, City Mart Local intends to refund that fee.
City Mart Local may run a temporary promotion that waives the posting fee for eligible listings during a stated period. A waiver applies only to listings published while the promotion is active and only up to any stated limit per account. A promotional listing is a standard listing: it runs for the same 7 days and follows the same rules and safety checks. When the promotional period ends, the standard posting fee applies again automatically. A waived fee is not a credit, refund, subscription or ongoing entitlement.
Posting fee pricing may change. Any change applies to listings published after the change takes effect; a fee already paid is not affected.
