The following items, services and activities may not be listed, offered, requested or arranged through City Mart Local.
This list may not be exhaustive. City Mart Local may remove content and restrict accounts where content violates the law, violates its policies, or presents an unacceptable platform or safety risk.
Drugs and related products
- Illegal drugs and controlled substances
- Cannabis, THC and cannabis-derived intoxicating products
- Prescription medication, unlawful medical products and unapproved treatment claims
- Drug paraphernalia where its sale or transfer is prohibited
- Substances marketed as legal alternatives to controlled substances
Age-restricted products
- Tobacco, nicotine, vape products, e-liquids and related devices
- Alcohol and alcoholic beverages
- Any other product whose sale or transfer requires a license City Mart Local does not support
Weapons and dangerous goods
- Firearms, firearm frames, receivers and completion kits
- Ammunition, magazines and reloading components
- Explosives, fireworks, detonators and incendiary devices
- Other weapons and dangerous items prohibited by City Mart Local policy or by law
- Hazardous, toxic, radioactive or highly flammable materials
Sexual content and services
- Pornography and sexually explicit content of any kind
- Sexual services, escort services and any commercial sexual activity
- Sexualized content involving minors, which is reported to authorities where required
- Adult products and content presented in an explicit manner
Stolen, counterfeit and fraudulent goods
- Stolen property or property you do not have the right to sell
- Counterfeit, replica or knock-off goods, and infringing copies of media or software
- Fraudulent goods, fake products and items with altered or removed serial numbers
- Access devices, cloned cards, skimmers and tools intended for fraud
Identity, financial and account credentials
- Government or identity documents, including IDs, passports, licenses and birth certificates
- Financial credentials such as card numbers, bank details, checks or payment credentials
- Stolen or transferred online accounts, subscriptions, logins or verification services
- Personal data sets, contact lists or credentials belonging to other people
Illegal services and exploitation
- Illegal services of any kind, including services that facilitate crime
- Human exploitation, trafficking, forced labor and exploitative labor arrangements
- Adoption, surrogacy brokering, or offers involving people as property
- Hacking, fraud, document forgery, academic cheating and similar services
Animals and wildlife
- Illegal wildlife, endangered species and products made from them, including ivory
- Animals or animal products whose sale or transfer is prohibited by law
- Animal fighting equipment or activities
Unsafe and regulated products
- Recalled products and products subject to a safety recall
- Dangerously unsafe, tampered or defective products
- Unlawful medical devices, prescription-only equipment and unapproved health claims
- Products with mandatory safety labeling removed or defeated safety features
- Airbags, catalytic converters and similar parts where transfer is restricted
Prohibited activities
- Using City Mart Local to facilitate any illegal activity
- Scams, advance-fee schemes, phishing and payment-diversion attempts
- Pyramid schemes, chain referrals, multi-level recruitment and get-rich-quick offers
- Gambling, lotteries and unlicensed betting arrangements
- Loan sharking, unlicensed lending and money-transfer or cash-exchange schemes
- Circumventing moderation, evading enforcement or operating undisclosed automation
Enforcement
Content that violates this policy may be rejected before publication or removed afterward. Depending on the severity, City Mart Local may also restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
Paying a posting fee does not create a right to publish prohibited or unlawful content.
